Product Highlights

Excess humidity in sides that make up a building certainly represents an element of deterioration and unhealth conditions.  The oldest method for solving this problem consists in creating air chambers that separate the living area from the soil, whether walls or floors.  This air chamber is precisely the air gap, which is called air gap or ventilated air gap depending on the air flows.  The air gap is built when the air space is connected to the external environment by means of opposing aeration holes located at different hights.

Characteristics

• High elasticity, impact strength, less sensitivity to thermal changes, no fragile breaks phenomena.
• Contains a colouring additive that provides high resistance to U.V. rays.
• The behaviour of the frame and of the formwork elements during the casting were subjected to numerical simulations and tests by the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Brescia.
