Guttabielastic provides long-lasting waterproofing of surfaces with various dimensions
and on structures where a prefabricated sheath is difficult to lay, both vertically
and horizontally. When correctly applied it acts as a well anchored continuous bituminous
membrane. Guttabielastic is used to impermeabilise walls against the soil, flat roofs,
balconies, terraces, to restore old membranes, to seal chimneys, cement gutters,
etc.
Laying instructions*
Guttabielastic is ready for use. It is applied with a brush, a roll or a floor-brush
on well-levelled and dry surfaces. The consumption varies between 1 and 2 kgs/sqm.
On large surfaces it is recommended to use the non-woven tissue guttatex which is
inserted between the first and the second coat of guttabielastic, to reinforce the
waterproof coating.
