JM Vassallo Vibro Blocks Ltd obtained a grant from Malta Enterprise under EDRF Energy Grants Scheme for the installation of photovoltaic and insulation panels.

A Photovoltaic System producing 40.32KWp of electricity generated from the sun, comprising of 216 panels, was installed on part of the roof of the main warehouse.

The outer walls of the office block were covered with XPS insulation panels and coated according to the approved system called Kelyfos Insulation.

The result of the project was a saving of about 7% of our electricity consumption.

The investment was financed as follows:

European Regional Development Fund:                         42.50%

National Funds:                                                         7.50%

Company's Funds:                                                   50.00%
